Logging time with LogSense
When LogSense is active as the time tracking provider, time is logged from the issue Log work action. In this release the modal shows duration shortcuts as buttons, highlights the one that matches the typed duration, and the daily limit indicator no longer shows 0m: if the space has no cap, the indicator is not displayed.
Issue panel as visual summary
From version 2.4.0, the LogSense side panel (jira:issuePanel) is redesigned as an issue metrics dashboard, replacing the previous worklog-table UI. Its purpose is to provide at-a-glance insight while browsing the issue, without duplicating the Work log tab.
Billable, non-billable, and work types
Every LogSense time entry can be classified as billable or non-billable and associated with a work type. This metadata is key for reporting and client billing.
Worklog approval workflow
When the administrator enables Enable approval workflow in global or per-space settings, worklogs are created in PENDING state and must be approved to count toward totals and reports.
Hours report and timesheet
The Hours report is a global LogSense page, titled Hours logged, that summarizes the hours logged in a month, without adding gadgets or building a dashboard. On the same page, the Timesheet view shows the team's hours by person and day.
