Email Custom Field
The Email Custom Field lets you store an email address per work item, with format validation both on the client and on the server, and search support integrated with Jira Cloud's search engine.
Traffic Light KPI Custom Field
The Traffic Light KPI custom field lets you store a numeric value per work item and display it as a three-color indicator — 🔴 red, 🟡 yellow, and 🟢 green — resolved from per-context thresholds.
Phone Number Custom Field
The Phone Number Field custom field stores a single phone number per work item, validates the format on save, and renders it on the work item view as a clickable tel: link. It fits use cases such as service-desk requester records, customer profiles, contact details for sales prospects, and any other workflow where a number captured today should be one tap away from a call tomorrow.
Currency Custom Field
The Currency Field custom field stores a monetary amount per work item and renders it with the currency symbol, symbol position (prefix or suffix) and decimal places the administrator configures per field context.
Percentage Custom Field
The Percentage Field custom field stores a value between 0 and 100 and renders it as a horizontal progress bar with colour bands (red / yellow / green) defined per field context.
Attachment Field
The Attachment Field custom field allows files to be attached directly to a specific work item field — for example, Invoices, Evidence Photos, or PQR Documents — independently of Jira's native attachments panel. Each field stores its own files separately: different fields on the same work item do not share attachments, and a parent work item's field does not mix its files with those of its subtasks.

Atlassian Marketplace Licensing
From version 4.0.0, Admin Essentials for Jira is distributed as a paid product on the Atlassian Marketplace. The app requires an active license to edit custom fields, configure thresholds and contexts, and create or modify workflow validators. Data already stored on work items remains visible without a license.
Colour Band Properties
From version 5.0.0 onwards, the Traffic Light KPI and Percentage Field fields automatically sync their derived colour band — 🔴 red, 🟡 yellow, or 🟢 green — into a Jira work item property.
Languages and Locales
Admin Essentials for Jira automatically adapts its interface to the language of the Jira site where it is installed. No configuration is needed in the add-on itself: if your Jira site uses Spanish, the application detects it and displays all its texts in that language.
