Installation Guide
Install Stratify for Jira on your Jira Cloud site as a paid Forge app. After install, an administrator must activate the license (or the evaluation), associate the Parent Element field with the relevant issue types and screens, then save hierarchy rules, before the nested Gantt can be used.
Prerequisites​
- Jira administrator or site administrator permission to install Forge apps.
- Internet access and a path to your site (
your-domain.atlassian.net). - Permission to edit work items in the spaces that will appear in plans (sync runs as the current user).
Installation steps (administrators)​
- Sign in to Jira Cloud with administrator credentials.
- Click Install Stratify for Jira above (Forge developer install link).
- Select your Jira Cloud site if prompted.
- Review the requested permissions (scopes) and confirm with Accept & install (or the equivalent button).
- Wait for Atlassian to finish deploying the Forge app.
- In Apps → Manage apps, confirm that Stratify for Jira is listed as installed.
- Confirm that the site has an active license or an evaluation in progress. Without one, the app does not let you use its features.
The app requests read access to work items, JQL search, and write access to the date fields (and agreed fields) synced from the Gantt. All scopes follow Forge least privilege.
Not an administrator?​
If you do not have admin rights, share the install link with your Jira administrator and ask them to install Stratify for Jira on the site.
After install​
Install alone does not nest the Gantt. Complete these steps:
- Associate the Parent Element field with the issue types and screens on the site. Details: Parent Element field.
- Open the hierarchy panel and define Parent → Children rules. Details: Hierarchy panel.
- Open the Gantt (Stratify global page / Command Center) and run a test JQL.
The Stratify UI follows the Jira locale: es-ES (default) or en-US. Issue type names and customer data are not translated.
License​
Stratify for Jira is a paid app. The license covers the whole application: there is no per-module license.

A site administrator buys or renews the subscription from Settings → Billing, from Apps → Manage apps, or from the Atlassian Marketplace once the product listing is published. This documentation does not include a listing link.
