Jira Data Center 11.3 Compatibility

Jira PDF Merger 2.0.0 is validated and operational on Jira Data Center 11.3.
Jira 11.3 requires Java 21; the plugin is built and runs against that platform.
Merging PDFs from the issue, visibility by project/issue type, preview, and merge actions (replace originals / attach as new / download only) work the same as in version 1.1.0. This release does not include new merge functionality.

Branding

Introduces the plugin's official framed logo, using the app-icon format shared across the rest of the suite.

Compatibility break

If your Jira site is still on version 10.x, do not install 2.0.0: continue using version 1.1.0.
Upgrading from 1.1.0 to 2.0.0 does not require reconfiguring visibility by project/issue type or the default merge action.

New Features and Enhancements

Advanced Visibility Configuration:
- Administrators can now enable or disable the PDF merging functionality granularly by project and by issue type.
- This allows for greater relevance and a cleaner Jira interface, showing the tool only where it is needed.

Dynamic PDF Preview:
- A new real-time preview panel has been incorporated into the merging interface.
- Users can instantly see what the merged document will look like as they select and reorder the files.
- This significantly improves the user experience and helps prevent errors.

Flexible Merge Action Control:
- For Administrators: A global setting has been added to define the default action when merging PDFs ("Replace originals," "Attach as new," or "Download only").
- For End-Users: Users can override this default action at the time of merging, selecting the option that best suits their needs.
